Percent Math Games
What Are Two Percent Math Games?
Playing math games is a great way for kids to work on their skills while also having fun. Percents can be hard for students, and they often need a lot of practice. You can create some percent math games in order to help your students learn this skill.
- Create a percent bingo game to help kids learn the relationship between fraction or decimals and percents. Put percents on the bingo card and call out their equivalent fraction or decimal.
- Make a percent memory game, which is great for centers. Write a percent and its decimal or fraction equivalent on a pair of note cards. Students play by spreading out the cards face down and turning over two at a time. If they get a match, they get to keep the cards. If not, they have to turn them over. The student with the most cards at the end wins.
