English 9th Grade Identifying Grammer
How Can I Practice Identifying Grammar For 9th Grade English?
If you're doing poorly on the grammar quizzes given by your 9th grade English teacher, you may want to practice on your own. Strong grammar skills are important for many reasons, and your grades may suffer if you don't tackle the problem early. Most teachers grade for conventions on papers and other writing assignments. If you're not skilled at identifying grammar, you may make a lot of mistakes or spend hours with a revision partner trying to spot all the errors. You'll also be tested on grammar when you take the ACT or SAT your junior year. High school teachers are notorious for piling on homework junior year, so you'll be doing yourself a favor if you master grammar as a 9th grader.
You can review grammar rules at the Guide to Grammar and Writing. This site also has quizzes and practice activities. You can also quiz yourself on 9th grade grammar at Writer's Choice.
