Students that know how to get good grades in math tend to be hard workers who complete all homework problems and study for tests. There are several things you can do to improve your math grade.
- Do your math homework every night.
- See your teacher for extra help if you don't understand the homework.
- Complete extra practice problems the night before tests and quizzes.
- Take good notes in class and include practice problems with worked solutions in your notes.
- Make a list of all the formulas and identities you need memorized and study them with flashcards, if necessary.
- Keep extra batteries for your calculator and sharpened pencils in your backpack so you're always prepared for tests.
If you're still not happy with your grades, you may need additional help from a math tutor. Talk to your parents about finding a tutor who can help you with math.
