Measurement Assessment from ThatQuiz

The measurement quiz offered here will help your child review the difference between inches and centimeters. The assessment is self-correcting, so you won't have to correct your child's answers. An internal clock times your child from the moment he or she enters an answer to the first question. One question appears onscreen at a time. Your child can use a moveable digital ruler to determine the length of the various items in either centimeters or inches. This site also offers free quizzes in different math topics, from place value and fractions to arithmetic and exponents.

Quiz from Softschools.com

Here's a free, online math quiz dealing with many types of measurement. In order to successfully complete these questions, your child will need to understand pints, grams, pounds, ounces, perimeter, kilograms, cups and gallons. This quiz isn't timed, but it is corrected instantly and can be ended at any time. Problems appear one at a time and are in a multiple-choice format.

Rather than performing conversions, these questions require students to identify which unit of measurement (pint or gallon, for example) matches a certain object. One question asks which unit of measurement would be used to determine the amount of water in a pool. Softschools.com considers this quiz appropriate for 4th graders, but it may be helpful for all elementary school students and even middle school kids looking for review.

Worksheet from Tlsbooks.com

This printable, PDF measurement worksheet has 30 total questions and comes with an answer key. At the top of the worksheet, there are three categories of measurement listed: liquid, weight and length. All the conversion formulas your child will need are provided. Your child must convert various types of measurements to fill in the blanks. For instance, one question requires students to convert 6,000 pounds into tons.
