Signing Up for SkillsTutor

SkillsTutor is designed to supplement classroom instruction with online practice. When you sign up, your child will receive a SkillsTutor login and password. Then, he or she can complete the lessons and quizzes from school or home. Since SkillsTutor is individualized, your child can proceed at his or her own pace and target specific skills. You can find lessons in reading, writing, math, science, employability and career skills. If you encounter technical difficulties with SkillsTutor once you've signed up, you can contact their customer support department via phone or e-mail.

Using SkillsTutor's Free Samples

Before purchasing SkillsTutor, you can preview over 30 sample lessons at the site. After the free registration page, you'll find these sample lessons. SkillsTutor's sample lessons are detailed, specific, have colorful graphics and provide many opportunities for your child to practice learning skills. Because the lessons take place online, SkillsTutor may be perfect for your child if he or she is a visual learner. After your child completes the lessons, you can print reports of his or her progress.
