Multiplication Tests
Can I Find Multiplication Tests Online?
Students usually take many multiplication tests in 3rd and 4th grade because fast recall of math facts is an important key to success in later math grades. These tests are usually timed, can have anywhere from 20-100 problems and are given in one to three minutes. Timed tests either test multiplication facts from a certain family, like eights or nines, or mixed families up to tens or twelves.
Although you can find actual multiplication tests online, you can also convert any worksheet to a test.
To make your own multiplication tests, you can visit the Math Fact Café and use their free worksheet generator. With this tool, you can select the number and type of problems. Math Fact Café also has premade math fact worksheets.
Math.About.com has one-minute tests for each fact family as well as a mixed test available as a free PDF download. You can find more timed multiplication tests at Multiplication.com.
Math Drills has hundreds of multiplication worksheets, and you can use any of them as multiplication tests.
