Kid Games
Children learn more when they enjoy their studies. The learning trend tends to cease, however, when one does not understand something and becomes frustrated. Educational kid games can make learning more fun than work. Many websites offer free kid games that are both age- or grade-level specific and applicable to a number of different school subjects. The U.S. Department of Education, www.ed.gov, for example, offers many kid games and links to other educational websites. Parents can also create games from common household items. Memory cards or flash cards, for instance, can help a child memorize multiplication tables or spelling words. 'Hangman' and word searches can also help children with spelling and word recognition.
