I Need Help with My Homework
When was the last time you heard your child say, 'I need help with my homework'? Even if a student is struggling, he or she might not ask for help. In a U.S. Department of Education article by Nancy Paulu entitled, 'Helping Your Child With Homework,' the author's research indicates that family involvement in a child's education can be of overwhelming importance, but is often neglected. By learning how to best assist with homework and create the proper learning environment for his or her child, a parent can promote educational success and a lifelong love of learning. In this way, parents may need to do their own homework. Families can find further articles and information about important educational topics at www.ed.gov.
